pranaDOGS Behavior and Rehab Center works primarily with dogs while they’re between homes and in temporary situations.
Animal Shelters, Rescues and Fosters are tasked with helping all types of animals. Some of these animals need more than a shelter can provide. Some have been overlooked others through a trauma but all need extra room, a household structure and new coping strategies.
Because of this focus, we’re able to provide only a limited amount of training opportunities for the public. The proceeds of all classes and training sessions are tax-deductable and go directly to help feed, house and train the dogs in our care. Dog Behavior and Problem Solving 1×1 sessions – Available for individuals who have adopted a dog – only 3 per month!
Basic Manners Classes – held on Saturday’s at La plata County Humane Society (LPCHS)
Dog Reactive Classes – 6-week classes running Friday evenings, Sept-April
Anxious Dog Classes – Online class for individuals with fearful and shut-down dogs
Advanced Manners – focusing on leash manners on coming when called
Free Workshops – held at 6pm, the second Wednesday of every month at LPCHS, Sept-April
