Reactive Dog Class

Does your dog lunge, bark or react badly when they see another dog or person?

Does your dog get so excited when they see another dog that they ignore you completely?

This class may be for you! In this 2-hour session we work with a small group of dogs and their people in a large, indoor setting. We teach the dogs alternate behaviors then practice those behaviors, including a calming exercise, a refocusing exercise and coping mechanisms.

held at Creature Comforts

Reactive dogs struggle with impulse control, they see something and immediately act. We practice exercises that help them take a beat, then make a better choice.

We also help to guide you to ensure you’re doing everything right to set your dog up for success.

Sometimes just having a coach can help instill minor changes that provide major impacts. And the more success you have with your dog, the more confidence you’ll have in your relationship.

Been through the Reactive Dog Workshop? Then this is your chance to practice the strategies we talked about!

We are offering 2 classes this spring to give folks an opportunity to practice in a controlled setting before we begin the Reactive Dog Walks.

Come to one, come to both, build your confidence and help your dog build theirs!
